Will you live the creed?

We believe in the bond of sisterhood that is based on the understanding, love, friendship, and appreciation. Delta Zeta has always been well represented at the University of Louisville. We strive for women who show leadership, scholarship, athleticism, involvement, social and moral responsibility, etiquette, and a beauty that is seen inside & out.

On Tuesday, January 8, 2008, December Parker (left) was named as one of the five young women were selected from a group of 28 Derby Festival Princess finalists. Those 28 were chosen from the original group of 114 applicants from 19 schools in Kentucky and Indiana. She is photographed with Beta Gamma alumnae and former princesses, Tara Lutz Schwartz (center) and Rachel Shee Overstreet. (Tara was actually crowned Queen of the Kentucky Derby Festival). The Beta Gamma chapter has a long line of members who have been selected as princesses. The Derby Festival Princesses act as ambassadors for the Derby Festival and the city as they represent the community at a variety of functions, including an appearance on NBC's Today Show.
Congratulations to Beta Gamma chapter member
Rachel Meyer for being named a 2009 Finalist!!!
