In early May, Delta Zeta senior, Caitlin Lewis learned that she had been chosen received the prestigious Florence Hood Minor Award. The Florence Hood Minor is an National Delta Zeta award presented to only six outstanding DZ juniors in the nation. Caitlin is a Business major with a 3.9 cumulative GPA. She is Vice-President of the Student Marketing Association, and Vice-President of GAMMA (Greeks Advocating the Mature Mangement of Alcohol). She is also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Golden Key, Rho Lambda, Sigma Alpha Lambda and Order of Omega Honor Societys. She has been named a Dean's Scholar at U of L twice and on the Deean's list for the past four semesters. She also serves as Vice-President of Membership for Delta Zeta. Congratulations Caitlin!
Two DZs Named in Homecoming Top 10!
Delta Zeta Seniors Karen Clough (left) and Debbie Whitelock were named to the 2009 Homecoming Top 10. They were selected based on their campus activities, grades and an interview with a panel of judges. Karen Clough was also named the 2010 Greek Goddess!
Delta Zeta's Named as the 2008 AND 2009 Greek Woman of the Year
Congratulations to Amanda Keeling (left) for being named the 2009 Greek Woman of the year and Anna Rolf for being named the 2008 Greek Woman of the year. This is the highest award presented to a sorority member at U of L. Amanda was also named the Delta Zeta 2009 Region 13 Outstanding senior and Anna was also named the 2008 Greek Goddess.

DZ Named TKE Sweetheart
Congratulations to our past President, Debbie Whitelock for being named the 2009 Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity Sweetheart on Wednesday, February 4, 2009! She has also been named as a finalist for the title of TKE International Sweetheart. She will be featured in the TKE national magazine in May, 2009.

Beta Gamma Ranked in Top FIVE!!
In the 2008/2009 school year Beta Gamma was recognized as a top 20 chapter as we ranked #3 in the nation at the end of the 06-08 DZ Biennium. Please visit the following link to read more about the Beta Gamma chapter's overall national ranking;
Nationally, the Beta Gamma Chapter of Delta Zeta was recently ranked in the top five for the number of service hours performed by a DZ chapter (we have 161 chapters nationwide).
Homecoming Traditions...

Delta Zeta takes the Intramural title again in 2009
Delta Zeta won the University of Louisville's Intramural Title for the 2008-2009 school year! This is the 28th time out of the past 30 years the chapter has won the title! For more information and individual event results please visit our Intramurals page.
Delta Zeta #1 in Service Hours
In April, 2010, Delta Zeta was named the top sorority at U of L for the number of service hours performed for the third year in a row! Delta Zeta was also recognized in February, 2010 by DZ Region 13 for the most hours performed and the most money raised per member for a local/national philantrophy project in our region. Delta Zeta also received this honor for the 2008-2009 school year, performing over 8700 hours. Finally, Delta Zeta was nationally recognized as the 4th Delta Zeta chapter in the nation for hours performed and 8th in the nation for money raised.Way to go girls!Photographed are 43 of our chapter members at the MS fundraiser walk.
