The Miss U of L pageant is a preliminary for Miss Kentucky and is a part of the Miss America system. Our guidelines and contestant eligibility guidelines are set by the national organization of Miss America and are as follows:
The Miss University of Louisville Scholarship Pageant is open to all University of Louisville Students who meet the following criteria:
Must be a part-time or full-time University of Louisville student. Students can be enrolled in GRADUATE SCHOOL, DENTAL/MEDICAL, LAW or be a undergraduate student. Or, University of Louisville alumna/graduate of the university.
Must be at least 17 years of age and a high school senior who has been accepted to the University. Contestants cannot be older than 24 years old on December 31, 2011.
Must be a United States citizen.
You must be a six-month resident of Kentucky.
You must be a single female and never been married.
You have never been pregnant and are not the adoptive parent of any child.
You are of good moral character and have not been involved in any act of moral turpitude.
Other than minor offenses, you have no pending criminal charges against you and you have never been convicted of criminal offense.
Must college $100 in donations for the Children's Miracle Network (CMN). You MUST register and collect the donations through the Miss America 4Kids website.
